Poverty Relief & Employment Support Program

Our Approach

Program Description

The Poverty Relief & Employment Support Program at Happy Hearts Learning Centre (HHLC) provides practical support to low-income families, newcomers, single parents, and individuals facing barriers to employment.
Our goal is to improve economic stability, confidence, and independence by offering job readiness training, vocational guidance, and personalized support.
HHLC works closely with community partners, employment specialists, and social service agencies to ensure participants gain the skills, resources, and connections needed to enter or re-enter the workforce successfully.

We prioritize support for newcomer women, Black and immigrant families, and Indigenous participants who often face systemic barriers to employment and economic inclusion.
